1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) apply to all contracts for renting studios, spaces and the event location of Black Forest Studios as well as related services. Deviating terms of the renting party only become effective if we expressly agree to them in writing.
2. Conclusion of contract & booking
Offers are non-binding. A contract is concluded with our booking confirmation (e.g. by email). The booked spaces, times and services result from this confirmation.
3. Prices & payment
The prices agreed at the time of booking apply, plus statutory VAT. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due after invoicing within the stated period. [Add deposit and payment terms.]
4. Cancellation & rebooking
Cancellations and rebookings require text form. We communicate the applicable cancellation periods and fees with the booking confirmation. [Add specific cancellation scale.]
5. Obligations of the renting party
The renting party uses the spaces and equipment with care and solely for the agreed purpose, observes the house and safety rules as well as the instructions of our staff, and returns the spaces in their original condition. The renting party is liable for culpably caused damage.
6. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as for damage arising from injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. No liability is accepted for items brought in by the renting party.
7. Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The place of jurisdiction, as far as legally permissible, is Freiburg im Breisgau. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
